成都乌木艺术博物馆简介
成都乌木艺术博物馆坐落于山清水秀的世界双文化遗产名城都江堰，占地70余亩, 由来自台湾的艺术家卢泓杰先生斥巨资于2000年12月创办，是世界首家以研究乌木文化、对乌木实施挖掘和保护、进行乌木艺术品创作和收藏的公益性大型主题民办博物馆，也是一个重要的世界环保文化教育基地。
博物馆收藏千余件乌木作品，包括特级作品3件，一级作品35件，二级作品356件。其中，既有大自然的鬼斧神工之作，也有艺术家们的巧夺天工之作，聚显天灵、地珍、人意“三绝”。本馆用十余年时间打造出了一个陈列规模和藏品价值都堪称世界之最的乌木王国。
乌木，川人俗称，又名“炭化木”，主要产于成都平原，椐C14同位素测定，成都乌木断代3800年以上，久至26000年，由埋藏在古河床下数千年不朽的古木炭化形成。其质地坚硬、色泽乌亮、形态万千，兼具石的神韵与木的古雅，展示出了大自然灵性至上、艺术天尊的神秘气氛。加之其耐腐蚀性强，故被视为雕刻工艺品的宝贵原料，民间素有“家有乌木一方，胜得珠宝一箱”之说。乌木，乃众多名家的珍爱，原全国人大委员长乔石为之题词——“天府瑰宝”；原全国政协主席李瑞环亲笔题词——“珠宝易得，乌木难求”。
博物馆还投入巨资组建了“成都乌木学术委员会”，聘请了国内外知名专家教授对乌木文化进行研究考证，并已取得了一系列成果，著有二十多万字的《乌木文化》论文集。
成都乌木艺术博物馆发掘和汇聚成都乌木文化的精华，十余年来，站在生态科学的前沿，福报天下大众,声振五湖四海。博物馆已落户成都都江堰青城大道，其主体文化和科考价值与青城山、都江堰水利工程形成“三角鼎立”的文化格局，成为了一座具有世界交流功能的文化聚集场所！
About Chengdu Ebony Art Museum
Chengdu Ebony Art Museum is located in picturesque city of Dujiangyan, the world's dual cultural heritage, and covering about 70 acres. In December 2000, Taiwan artist Mr. Lu Hongjie invested heavily to set up the museum after years of hard work. The museum is the world’s first one specializing in ebony cultural collections, research and protection of the public good museum, and important environmental education base in southwest China.
After Mr. Lu Hongjie’s years study, he found that: ebony, also known as carbonized wood, formed from the charring ancient wood which was buried under the ancient riverbeds. The hardy bony,with glossy black color, thousands shape, both has poly significant and charm for stone and wood. It demonstrates the spiritual supremacy of nature, senior mysterious atmosphere of art. Together with its resistance to corrosion, it is considered as valuable raw material of carving crafts.
In Sichuan, ebony mainly distributes in Changjiang River and its tributaries, Minjiang River, Tuo River, Jialing River basin, especially in the Chengdu Plain. After millennium archive, ebony shows us the evolution history of ecological environment for Chengdu Plain with its rich historical information .Ebony is a precious ecological heritage, is a key for our gateway to the mysterious and brilliant civilization of ancient Shu.
Chengdu Ebony Art Museum is committed to building "Chengdu Ebony" ,the unique culture brand of Chengdu. In 2005, the museum was named as "the integrity non-enterprise units of Chengdu ", and in 2011,it was listed as one of the four key supported museums in Sichuan Province , and was top ten private cultural enterprises in Sichuan hundred private fair class. The museum formally opened in August 2000.
The museum collection has reached more than one thousand pieces of ebony, which includes 3 premium art works, 35 level A art works, 156 level two art works. "Ten thousand Care • Sun God" of the museum, for its deep-rooted, the magnificent natural form, symbols the splendour of sun, is core performance of reunification of the motherland, the people want, the united ethnic roots, and national soul, It was hailed as the era treasure by arts.
